V
Isaiah starts by voicing “You are my God,” a statement of submission, Putting God above all others.
“I exhalt You,” my God the highest,” I praise Your name because Your counsels (plans) of old (from the beginning) are faithful and true.”
Isaiah honored and praised God to glorify Him because he realised that God completes all His plans as promised; plans that He made from the very beginning of creation. God’s plans are absolute perfection and cannot be bettered, though we humans often think we know better. “There are many plans in a man’s heart,
Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel-that will stand (PROVERBS 19:21).
Regardless of human plans, man cannot change the outcome of God’s plans; it is His counsel (will) that will stand.
God will complete His plans as promised; God Himself will be with His people as promised; He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there will be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain for the former things have passed away (REVELATION 21:3-4).
Now that is a promise!!! A future to hope for!!! And that time is fast approaching.
God cannot lie; He completes all His plans as promised. Furthermore, He is faithful to fulfils His individual promises to you.
I encourage you; whatever your struggle, and by the way He never promised a pain free life, but He does promise to make a way for you and to provide all your needs (PHILIPPIANS 4:19).
We don’t even need to ask for our needs, for Jesus told us, ““Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
Matthew 6:31-34 NKJV
My beloved seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all, not some, but all these things will be added to you.
He cares about you, and He is ready to help in every situation when you seek His help.
God goes before you to make a way and then is with you through it all (DEUTERONOMY 31:8).
But however, He does not take away your free will, so you can do it your own way if you so wish, but will suffer the consequences of that (JAMES 1:5-8).
But truly, when you put your trust in God you shall be victorious and remain at peace. Furthermore, you can be certain, however things turn out, God turns it is for your long-term good. He causes all things to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them (ROMANS 8:28).
My brethren, He sees the whole picture, not part, and He is using your troubles for good; to build and strengthen you like an athlete in training, and we know where theirs no pain, theirs no gain.
He is doing a good work within you; “And I am certain that God who started a good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns (PHILIPPINES 1:6).”
However impossible your situation, God wants to and will help you; if you invite Him in and repent (turn from your way to His, your impossible situation will become possible (MATHEW 19:26; LUKE 18:27); for you can do all things through Christ who is your strength (PHILIPPINES 4:13).
My beloved, rather than focusing on what we don’t have, we should take the time I look back at our answered prayers and give thanks and praise to God for His provision, faithfulness, and truth.
Nothing is either too big nor too small for our incredible, all powerful, Almighty God.
Their is nothing in this world that God cannot deal with; no financial issue, nor health issue; no relationship issues, or addiction, or sin; He gave us an immune system that has kept humanity alive since the time of creation. Not even death itself has a hold on God’s people, because Jesus defeated death and the stone was rolled away (MARK 16:1-7; MATHEW 28:1-7).
“”O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”
I Corinthians 15:55-58 NKJV
My beloved, Paul gave us good advice; he said, “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:4-7 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
