Where Does My Help Come From?

PSALM 121:1-2

Where does my help come from? This song expresses the true hope and assurance of God’s provision, His protection, and His help in time of need. He not only made the hills and mountains, He created the heavens and the earth and everything in it, and He sustains them.
We should never put our trust in any power less than God, and why would we? Only God can do what God can do.
Neither money, nor status, nor any object or person, or any other god can save us, give us lasting life, nor provide all our needs and real peace of mind. I tell you the truth, if you have peace in Christ and nothing else, even if you you have massive debt, poor health, or you are homeless or alone, or you have many troubles, even if you are in prison, in Christ you are more than a millionaire; you are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (ROMANS 8:37).
So take a leaf out of the book of Paul, “Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:5-7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Psalm 121 is a wonderful encouragement to all believers and a reminder that God is in control and His protection follows His people every step of the way.
Therefore speak it over yourself and all with a heavy heart and watch the darkness flee:
“I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭121‬:‭1‬-‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
