MATHEW 28:18-20
“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
”Matthew 28:18-20 NKJV

Jesus said, “All authority in heaven and on earth was given to Me.” As a result , every Spirit filled follower of Christ can operate in God’s power and authority.
Jesus commanded His disciples back then and us today, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.”
Matthew 28:19-20 NKJV
In doing this, we are establishing the next generations to take the call and continue the works of the church, causing growth within the body, until the Lord Jesus Christ returns.
Today, nothing has changed, we believers are called to share the Good News, walking in the authority that Jesus gave us, making disciples of all who will listen.
He told His disciples back then and is telling us today, : “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanseh the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.”
Matthew 10:5-8 NKJV
My beloved, don’t waist time on those who reject Jesus’ message, but rather, seek the lost sheep of Israel, those with ears to listen and receive.
As Christ disciples we are obligated to share the Good News, but cannot change the way people think. Only God can do that. If they don’t want to know, let them go and move on.
Furthermore, by the leading of the Holy Spirit, we are called to heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, and cast out demons. Not in our own authority or power, but by authority and power of Christ Jesus in us, the Holy Spirit.
Healing comes hand in hand with deliverance, which is evicting the demonic powers from within, the source of all sickness, and being set free. For even the demons are subject to Gods people in Jesus name (LUKE 10:17).
The cleansing of lepors represents the cleansing of people from all the effects of one’s sinful past.
It comes through submission, good teaching, prayer, and faith, based on the finished work of Jesus Christ on a cross.
Therefore, ““Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil, Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow. “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land; But if you refuse and rebel, You shall be devoured by the sword”; For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
Isaiah 1:16-20 NKJV
When people receive the message of Jesus Christ and submit to the Lord, they are risen with Him; they have a new life in Christ who justified it, for all those who believe, when He died on a cross.
But, “Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”
Isaiah 53:1-5 NKJV
My beloved, through Christ we have authority over all sickness, cancer, diabetes, heart disease, depression, dementia, and every medical condition that exists.
Furthermore, just as our old sinful past is dead, so is our shame, for we are “born again” into Christ family and His righteousness has become ours.
My beloved, we Spirit filled believers have authority over the devil, his principalities, his powers, the rulers of darkness of this age, spiritual host of wickedness in the heavenly places, and his unclean spirits and demons, and yes, even over death itself. But it is not I, but Christ in me. For all authority over heaven and earth was given to Him who lives in me.
Note these words, “freely you received, freely give.” Life in Christ is a free gift, their are no excuses to charge for prayer, deliverance, healing, or council or any service or information.
There is no excuse for preaching the prosperity Jesus. God is faithful to provide.
My brothers and sisters in Christ, to walk in the authority of Christ, we must remain totally obedient to Him, disciplined in His word and walking by leading of the Holy Spirit in us
(see GALATIANS 5:16-26).
“So then, my brothers and sisters, we have an obligation, but it is not to live as our human nature wants us to. For if you live according to your human nature, you are going to die; but if by the Spirit you put to death your sinful actions, you will live. Those who are led by God's Spirit are God's children. For the Spirit that God has given you does not make you slaves and cause you to be afraid; instead, the Spirit makes you God's children, and by the Spirit's power we cry out to God, “Father! my Father!” God's Spirit joins himself to our spirits to declare that we are God's children. Since we are his children, we will possess the blessings he keeps for his people, and we will also possess with Christ what God has kept for him; for if we share Christ's suffering, we will also share his glory.”
Romans 8:12-17 GNBDK
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
