The Word of God is more than a book of words, or a vehicle for communicating ideas. In deed, their is immeasurable power in the bible you hold in your hands (ISAIAH 55:11).
In it, we encounter the very words of God Himself and the narrative He wants us to have, understand, cherish, and apply into our lives every day.
It is living, life changing, and dynamic as He actively works within us.
With greater incisiveness of a surgeon’s knife, God’s Word exposes who we really are and what we are not. It penetrates our deepest thoughts and the core of our moral and spiritual life. It seeks out what is in us, good and evil.
God’s Word requires’ decisions; we must do more than just listen to God’s Word; we must understand and receive revelation from Him; we must put into practice everything we learn from Him.
For, ”In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.“
John 1:1-5 NKJV
If He is sitting on a shelf for show, or in your car not used, He will be of no use!
Read your bible daily, study, and put into practice everything you learn from Him, and ask God to reveal the Scriptures to you, for God’s Word is a weapon of mass destruction against the enemy and all we need do is speak it out over our situations and believe to bring the giants down.
Not only will it help you to tap into God’s immeasurable power, but it will actively bring change into the way you think and live
You will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand and it will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus (PHILIPPIANS 4:6). Furthermore, with His peace shall come joy of the Lord, which is your strength (NEHEMIAH 8:10).
My brethren as spoken through the Prophet Isaiah, “Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon. “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts. “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. “For you shall go out with joy, And be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills Shall break forth into singing before you, And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
