It is wise to plan for tomorrow, but to worry about tomorrow is time wasted; it is damaging to your health and steals your peace and your joy.
Sometimes it is difficult to tell the difference between careful planning and worry; careful planning is thinking ahead about your goals, steps, and schedules, and putting your trust in God’s guidance. Good planning alleviates the worry and stress that is so damaging to your well being.
In contrast, worry consumes us with fear; which is the opposite of faith, with it comes confusion and makes it difficult to trust God.
Fear is a major weapon of the devil and opens doors into our very souls (our minds, will, and emotions) to the devil and his army of unclean spirits and demons.
Once in, they bring about all kinds of confusion, misinformation, lies, deceit, and all kids of temptations; they like squatters, take up residence in one’s body and make people’s lives a misery.
But there’s good news, we spirit filled believers have authority over these unclean spirits and demons to cast them out (Luke 10:17).
Sin let’s them, including the sin of our ancestors, but James tells us, “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”
James 4:7 NKJV
These devil’s have many evil schemes up their sleeve to open doors, therefore, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”
I Peter 5:8 NKJV
Fear, is one of the most powerful of the devil’s weapons, for fear is itself sin; it like hot is the opposite of cold, is the opposite of faith, and without faith, it is impossible to please God (HEBREWS 11:6).
Furthermore, fear is the fuel of most depression.
When diagnosed with depression, the doctor will call it anxiety/ depression; he will say there’s no cure, but with pills and council we can control it. If anxiety/ depression is in you and out of control, it is living in you and needs to be evicted.
I tell you the truth, deliverance is key to a changed life and healing.
Jesus said to His disciples, “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing. Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds? And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?”
Luke 12:22-25 NKJV
Worry doesn’t do anything to help any situation, it just makes matters worse. Furthermore, worrying can affect your ability to think straight, make good decisions, and can lead to anxiety/ depression.
“”Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
Matthew 6:31-34 NKJV
My beloved, if you are struggling with anxiety/ depression, health conditions, dependency, or it seems your life is cursed for poverty, broken relationships, and such things as these, you most likely need deliverance and should seek help from a ministry operating in deliverance and healing.
These devil’s will not give up there home without a fight and will continue to cause misery until removed.
Like squatters, we must seek help from the eternal judge, repent (submit to the Lord), rebuke the devil (vocally call them out), and then they will flee from you.
Having evicted them, one must close the doors that let them in by inviting the Holy Spirit to fill every space available, living godly lives, reading His Word, and assembling regularly in worship and fellowships.
For, ““When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation.””
Matthew 12:43-45 NKJV
My beloved, the spiritual realms along with the devil and his army of fallen angels are very real and as Paul said, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.”
Ephesians 6:12-20 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
