HEBREWS 13:7-9
“Remember those who rule over you, who have spoken the word of God to you, whose faith follow, considering the outcome of their conduct. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them.

Although many of our human church leaders have much to offer, we must remain fixed on Christ; He is our ultimate leader and example to follow. Unlike human leaders, Christ never makes mistakes nor does He change; He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
It is very important to be sure that what you are being taught in church or on YouTube or through any other source is correct, and that the example of the church leadership is the example of Christ.
My brethren, test and approve everything.
In this ever changing world, Christ does not change; and it’s encouraging to know we can trust our unchanging God.
“Strange doctrines” implies doctrines foreign to the gospel message; sacrificial feast, various laws determining what is clean and unclean.
Teachings that of the Old Testament ceremonial laws and rituals, such as not eating certain foods that was important back then for wellbeing. But these foods are no help for conquering evil human thoughts and desires (COLOSSIANS 2:23).
These laws could have an influence on conduct, but have no effect in changing the heart. Real lasting change only comes when the Holy Spirit who lives in us, transforms us from the inside by the renewing of our minds (ROMAN 12:2; EPHESIANS 4:23-24).
My brethren, if you want to get off that roundabout of the same old troubles and despair, you must change something, and it can only come by following the leading of the Holy Spirit living in you (see GALATIANS 5: 16:26).
It requires you to cooperate with God; presenting your body a living sacrifice holy and acceptable to God, which is the least you can do. It is then you shall be transformed by the renewing of your mind and you shall come to understand what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God (ROMANS 12:1-2).
It is a process and as Paul put it in Philippians 1:6: And I am certain that God who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.
Deliverance is key to a changed life; that is to free oneself of every demonic hold the devil has and get set free.
The devil and his fallen army will not let go without a fight, but should one submit to the Lord in repentance, rebuke the devil by verbally breaking every hold, then he shall flee from you.
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
