EPHESIANS 4:25-27
“Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another. “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil.

Does the bible tell us not to be angry? Of course not! But anger is not an excuse to exaggerate or lie.
It does point out that it is very important to handle our anger properly.
If vented thoughtlessly, anger can do extreme damage, hurting people; it can destroy good relationships and push not only ourselves, but others away from God.
When bottled up inside, it can cause us to become bitter and twisted, and shall open doors to the devil to destroy us from within.
Paul says we must deal with our anger immediately in a way that builds relationships rather than destroy them. If we hang on to our anger, nursing and feeding it, we will give the devil an opportunity to enter, manipulate, and mislead us with his lies and deception, giving him a foothold to destroy us. Furthermore, he is never far away, he prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour, his purpose is to steal, and to kill, and to destroy (JOHN 10:10; JOB 1:7).
Don't allow him to use your anger or situations to kill and destroy you, your friends, your relationships, or even your faith.
Are you angry with someone right now?
What can you do to resolve your differences?
Stop adding fuel to your fiery situation, but instead dampen it down and begin to work on mending your relationship before the day ends. Do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil.
He, like the corrupt governments and fake news media of today, will attack your emotions that you believe their lies and come into agreement with them.
Therefore my “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.”
I John 4:1-3 NKJV
What we speak has power, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.”
Proverbs 18:21 NKJV
My beloved, “Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another. “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil. Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”
Ephesians 4:25-32 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
