ROMANS 8:35-39
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

V
God never promised believers a trouble free life; in fact quite the opposite. James said, “when” we face troubles, not “if” we face troubles (JAMES 1:2).”
Therefore, we believers face hardship in many forms: persecution, health, wealth, imprisonment, and even death.
Furthermore, as each day passes, the trials and challenges brought upon the people in this world is getting more intense.
Today, we are facing more and more controls, rules, regulations, and restrictions that are being mandated by our world leaders. The world’s financial systems are collapsing, businesses are closing, unemployment is growing, as is poverty, and our health care systems are collapsing. Furthermore, we face the threat of world war.
As a result, we are experiencing divisions within the people of the world and the church as we head toward the great and awesome day of the Lord.
My beloved, it is encouraging to know that God never stops working, and thanks be to God that He is victorious in all things.
We give Him thanks that despite seeing thousands of churches closing all around the world, He is reestablishing His church according to His plans and purposes, not mans.
Mans old church is dead and quickly fading away, despite the man pleasing glossy performances that take the place of true heart felt worship. Despite the prosperity preaching and false prophetic promises, the old is fading away and Christ’ apostolic church is here and growing.
“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”
Ephesians 4:11-16 NKJV
Every believer is to operate within at least one of the five categories, not just the Pastor and preachers. It is time to operate in the apostolic and experience the signs and wonders of Christ.
It may be difficult for Pastors and church leaders to stand down and hand over to Christ, but it is time to allow Christ to build His church; to hand the reigns to Him and walk by the leading of the Spirit (see GALATIANS 5:16-26).
The man pleasing flesh led projects are fruitless and pointless, and their is no place on Christ pedestal for Pastors and preachers, or ministers of any kind; it’s God’s glory, and while we can soak in it and be clothed in it, we cannot steal it (REVELATION 21:11-13).
Church can no longer operate as a man pleasing business; it is Christ church, and He alone is the head.
The body cannot operate by the leading of the flesh, it needs the head. We all need Jesus.
Though at times it feels like we have been completely abandoned by Christ, these verses contain one of the most comforting promises throughout God’s word. That it is impossible to be separated from Christ. His death is proof of His unconditional, unconquerable, selfless love. And through Christ, we believers regardless of our failings, are more than conquerors through Christ, even in death, and that nothing can separate us from His love and His presence. He will not leave us orphans (JOHN 14:18).
But we have choices to walk in the Spirit or in the flesh. If one chooses his own way by the leading of his flesh, God will stand back until and leave him to it.
Maybe that’ll why we feel abandoned at times and everything seems to go pear shaped.
Yes, life can be challenging; But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 CORINTHIANS 15:57).
My beloved, we are in the last days and God is moving, and regardless of the damage that is being done by our corrupt world and church leaders, Christ is preparing us for such a time as this. “Then the Lord will be zealous for His land, And pity His people. The Lord will answer and say to His people, “Behold, I will send you grain and new wine and oil, And you will be satisfied by them; I will no longer make you a reproach among the nations. “But I will remove far from you the northern army, And will drive him away into a barren and desolate land, With his face toward the eastern sea And his back toward the western sea; His stench will come up, And his foul odor will rise, Because he has done monstrous things.” Fear not, O land; Be glad and rejoice, For the Lord has done marvelous things! Do not be afraid, you beasts of the field; For the open pastures are springing up, And the tree bears its fruit; The fig tree and the vine yield their strength. Be glad then, you children of Zion, And rejoice in the Lord your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, And He will cause the rain to come down for you— The former rain, And the latter rain in the first month. The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil. “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you. You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame. Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the Lord your God And there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame. “And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the Lord has said, Among the remnant whom the Lord calls.”
Joel 2:18-32 NKJV
The new wine is here, and with it, new powers; Jesus said, ““Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”
John 14:12-14 NKJV
As in the the first miracle, Jesus turned water into wine, for the old wine was finished.
Today, He is pouring out the new wine into His church, the new wine skins, those who believe and are ready to receive; He saved the best till last (JOHN 2:1-11).
My beloved, if you haven’t already, in view of the troubles of this world; in view of the times we live in, today would be a good time to commit your life to Christ and His leadership, for tomorrow may be too late.
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
