Then Jesus Said To Them, "I Am The Bread Of Life"

Good day everyone.
Thank You O Lord, that You are the Bread of life, and that You Jesus, are the source of our salvation. Only You O Lord, can meet our deepest needs. O Lord may we take in our Daily bread and remain fully nourished in the LORD? Please help us and encourage us to make time for our daily bread. Amen

JOHN 6:35
“And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.”

People eat bread to satisfy their stomachs and to sustain physical life. But the only way to satisfy spiritual hunger and sustain spiritual life is by taking in God’s Word, digesting it and by right relationship with Christ.
Just as we take in daily bread to sustain physical life, we must invite Christ into our daily lives to sustain spiritual life. That means to make time for prayer and study of His word. It means daily praise and worship and living right with God.
Amazingly, Jesus fed more than five thousand people with just five loaves and two small fishes (John 6:1-14).
When people went looking for Him the next day, they were following their stomachs rather than their hearts.
Jesus knew that they wasn’t interested in following Him for who He is, but rather for what He could do (v26).
It is never good to look at Jesus merely as a source of earthly provisions,; you can buy a loaf of bread in your local shop, but only Jesus can meet our deepest needs; only He can meet our spiritual need of a Saviour for our real purpose in life and daily guidance.
My beloved, He is the only way to our Father in heaven (JOHN 14:6).
The hunger and thirst that Christ satisfies, goes much deeper than physical hunger that can be satisfied by bread and fish.
The truth is: Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God (MATHEW 4:4).
Good and satisfying spiritual food and nourishment is essential for our wellbeing and walk with Christ.
My brethren, take in your daily bread; pray at the start of every day, and if you are thinking “I don’t have time,” you need it more! Make time! Get up earlier; do what you have to do, but make time to pray and take in God’s word daily, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

But it cannot do anything unless you take it in, chew it over and digest it. We must see it as essential life saving medication and shouldn’t miss a dose.
No one can overdose on Jesus pills; they sustain life eternally and bring peace, joy, and comfort through Christ Jesus who is our strength.
But however, their is much junk food out there; you can take it in via books, your mobiles, computers, tablets, and tv’s. Like the physical junk food available to us all from fast food outlets, it tastes good, but as you take it in it destroys you from the inside.
Spiritual junk food is available to all, pornography, false prophecies, false doctrine, old wives tales, and such as these. They seem to taste good, but they are from the pits of hell and will take there.
Jesus said, ““Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.”

My beloved, we must be watchful of what we listen to and test and approve everything.
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.”
