PSALM 16:7-8
“I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel; My heart also instructs me in the night seasons. I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.
”Psalms 16:7-8 NKJV

It's our foolish nature to make our plans and then ask God to bless them. But shouldn't we believers seek God's will first, and use His will as the center of our plans?
By constantly thinking about the Lord and His way of living, we will gain insight that will help us to make the right decisions and live our lives the way God desires.
Communicating with God by regular prayer, worship, and by regularly studying of the bible allows Him to counsel us, teach us, and give us wisdom.
David said, "He will not be shaken," he was talking about the unique sense of security felt by believers.
God does not exempt believers from the day to day trials, challenges, and circumstances of life. Believers and unbelievers alike experience pain, trouble, and failure at times (MATHEW 5:45). However, believers, unlike unbelievers, have a sense of hope, true purpose, and a wonderful future, regardless of the troubles they face in this life.
Those who seek God can move ahead, confident in knowing what is right in God's eyes, that He is in control, and He will keep them from straying off His chosen path. But even though we can truly trust God, we must not allow ourselves to become complacent or deceived in these last days, knowing that many shall fall away from the truth.
“Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.”
II Thessalonians 2:1-4 NKJV
Many are in expectation of the imminent Lord’s return; but despite the troubles of this world, the anti-Christ will be revealed and many will fall away from the faith before the second coming of Christ.
Therefore be mindful and not deceived. Jesus told us Himself, “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened. “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. “Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.”
Matthew 24:21-24, 26-28 NKJV
We cannot be complacent, for a watered down Gospel won’t help anyone; we must cooperate in obedience with God.
We must all make more time for prayer, more time for study, more time for the Lord, “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Hebrews 10:24-25 NKJV
Yes, Jesus is coming soon, and we must be ready in truth. But the devil is operating too and very few are calling for justice or truth in this corrupt world today (ISAIAH 59:4).
“The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
II Thessalonians 2:9-12 NKJV
Again I tell you, this is not a good time to be complacent; this is not a good time for a watered down Gospel. It is the truth that sets you free (JOHN 8:32).
“Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle. Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.”
II Thessalonians 2:15-17 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Men.
