Make Straight In The Desert A Highway For The Lord
Jesus Time Is Now
ISAIAH 40:1-5
“”Comfort, yes, comfort My people!” Says your God. “Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her, That her warfare is ended, That her iniquity is pardoned; For she has received from the LORD’s hand Double for all her sins.” The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of the LORD; Make straight in the desert A highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted And every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight And the rough places smooth; The glory of the LORD shall be revealed, And all flesh shall see it together; For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.”

Judah still had 100 years of trouble before Jerusalem would fall, and 70 years of exile. So God tells Isaiah to speak tenderly and comfort Jerusalem.
Today, we believers face all kinds of trials and challenges like never before.
God never said being a believer was going to be easy, but the troubles of today push us to our limits.
My brethren, you might not escape adversity, but you can find God's comfort as you confront it.
Sometimes however, the only comfort we have is in the knowledge that someday soon we will be with God, “And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”“
Revelation 21:3-4 NKJV
My beloved, truly I tell you, the best is yet to come.
Meanwhile, Isaiah has told us where many are today.
“Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood, And your fingers with iniquity; Your lips have spoken lies, Your tongue has muttered perversity. No one calls for justice, Nor does any plead for truth. They trust in empty words and speak lies; They conceive evil and bring forth iniquity. They hatch vipers’ eggs and weave the spider’s web; He who eats of their eggs dies, And from that which is crushed a viper breaks out. Their webs will not become garments, Nor will they cover themselves with their works; Their works are works of iniquity, And the act of violence is in their hands. Their feet run to evil, And they make haste to shed innocent blood; Their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; Wasting and destruction are in their paths. The way of peace they have not known, And there is no justice in their ways; They have made themselves crooked paths; Whoever takes that way shall not know peace.”

We all see the lies and corruption in this world, but very few are seeking freedom or truth, justice, or righteousness.
Following the man made pestilence, people are still foolishly accepting jabs that are filled with vipers eggs as a way forward. They believe the lies of our corrupt leaders who are taking us toward the coming cashless society as in Revelation 13, the new world order.
Despite the sudden deaths and awful side affects of the vaccines, many are still accepting the foolish advise of scientists rather than taking this to God.
What happened to putting our trust in the Lord?
The eggs are hatching and a web of diversity and hate is growing.
As we go into 2024, we shall see more and more evidence of the devil’s works. But many are waking up to the dark truths and evil agendas of our corrupt world leaders.
Jesus time is now and many shall turn to God in repentance; we shall see the glory of God coming upon this dark world and revival of the true church is inevitable.
“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.“

The old religious church that has operated from man, one pastor, vicar, or minister, is today being dismantled. The old wine is depleted. But our Lord kept the best til last and the new is here; Jesus time is now (JOHN 2:1-11).
”For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees?“
Romans 8:22-24 NkJV
My beloved, appreciate the comfort and encouragement found in God’s Word, His presence, and His people. Preparing a straight highway means removing obstacles and rolling out the red carpet for the coming of the Lord.
But repentance is needed to turn this around.
It is time for the church to hand the reins to Jesus and stand back and allow Him to lead His people as we walk with Him. And as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we shall fear no evil, for God is with us. His rod and His staff shall comfort us PSALM 23:1-6).
The wasteland is a picture of life's trials and sufferings. We are not immune to these, but our faith need not be hindered by them. Isaiah told the people to prepare to see God’s work. John the Baptist used these words as he challenged the people to prepare for the coming Messiah (Mathew 3:3).
As we start 2024, we must be prepared for the fast approaching return of Christ. Therefore, don't allow life's struggles to hinder your faith, but rather, put your trust in God knowing that everything is in his hand; that he takes what the devil meant for evil and turns it for good (GENESIS 50:20).
My beloved, come out from the old church religious systems that silenced the apostles and prophets; the old church controlled by man, in mans power, and embrace the new apostolic five fold ministry of Christ that is rising up throughout the nations.
Give the reins to Jesus and allow Him to lead us into the ultimate victory.
Meanwhile, stay focused on God's promise, that the best is yet to come; the promise of eternal life in paradise heaven is coming closer, and all our anxieties, sadness and sorrows will be gone forever.
We Spirit filled believers are called to serve; you are soldiers of Christ. So pick up your cross and follow the example of Jesus.
Get serious and share the Good News and battle the enemy on your knees.
Like “These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.“

My beloved we cannot continue to walk in the ways of the old religious systems of this world. We must come out and shine for Christ, and make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
“Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.” Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.”“
