Love Does No Wrong To Others

If My People

ROMANS 13:10-14
“Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.
”‭‭Romans‬ ‭13:10-14‬ ‭NKJV‬

We believers must obey the law of love, which supersedes both religious and civil laws.
It's easy to excuse our indifferences to others because we have no human legal obligation to help them, and often, justify harming them if our actions are technically legal.
Jesus left no loopholes in the law of love. Whenever loves demands it, we are to go beyond human legal requirements and imitate the God of love (see JAMES 2:8; 9:4-11 and 1 PETER 2:16-17).
The "night" in the past referred to the present time, but the present time of living is now in day break. The "day" refers to the time of Christ return.
People wake up! The day of the Lord is fast approaching. Mark 13:8, tells us, nation will rise against nation, this was beginning of the end, and refers to the first world war which started in 1914. Mark 13:8-30, tells us many of the signs of the end, and in verse 32 it says; ("I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass away from the scene until all these things have taken place.). The truth is, some people who lived through the war of 1914, will still be living when Jesus Christ returns.
Their has never been such a time as this; a time when all we need do is look and see the works of the devil as he prepares the people to receive his mark.
Never before could we see how the devil would be able to restrict trade to his people, that only those who received the mark could buy and sell (REVELATION 13:15-18).
Today, we can see how our corrupted leaders are breaking our financial systems and putting in place cashless systems; we see democracy falling away as the devil takes us toward the cashless society of Revelation 13. ”He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.“
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭13‬:‭16‬-‭18‬NKJV
Today, we can see how the devil has successfully infiltrated the minds of the masses to accept the restrictions and mandates that are being poured out in this world, and to continue to operate in man’s religious church.
My brethren, it’s all but over; the time of rapture is just around the corner. Jesus said, “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:4-14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
But whilst the devil pours out more and more evil on this world, God is dismantling mans old church and is establishing His body of people for such a time as this. ”And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.“
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭11‬-‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, we can see the suffering in this world, the rising persecution that is being placed on God’s people and it is getting worse. But I encourage you to stand firm in your faith and focus on the prize. “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.“
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭18‬-‭30‬ ‭NKJV
My beloved, wake up! Be ready! Put your immoral lives behind you and be ready for the return of Jesus Christ.
Some are surprised that Paul list fighting and jealousy with the gross and obvious sins of drunkenness and immortality. Like Jesus in His Sermon on the Mount (MATHEW 5:-7), Paul considers attitudes as important as actions.
Just as hatred leads to murder, so jealousy leads to strife and lust leads to adultery, surely we must put such things behind us and clothe ourselves with the presence of Jesus Christ.
As the Lord spoke to Solomon, He is calling out to His people, ”if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place. For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever; and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.“
‭‭II Chronicles‬ ‭7‬:‭14‬-‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
But how do we clothe ourselves with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ?
First, we identify with Christ, by being correctly baptized (GALATIANS 3:27). This shows solidarity with other Christians and with the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.
Then we exemplify the qualities Jesus showed while He was here on earth: Love, humility, truth, and service.
In a way, we role-play what Jesus would do in our situation (see EPHESIANS 4:24-32; COLOSSIANS 3 10-17).
Furthermore, we must open our hearts to the apostolic ministry of Christ and submit to His will, operating in the God given spiritual gifts He afforded His people. ”There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills. For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many.“
‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭4‬-‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, as we walk with God in this dark world, we must avoid those situations that open the door to gratifying our sinful desires. “Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3:12-17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
