Just As A Body, Though One, Has Many Parts, But All It's Many Parts Form One Body

This Is The Body Of Christ

1 CORINTHIANS 12:12-14
“For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many.
”‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭12‬-‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬

We Spirit filled believers are all a part of God's body of people (the church), and we all have an individual part to play, and with it comes individual gifts that we can do our part within the body of Christ to help and encourage one another; but the same Spirit is the source of them all (1 CORINTHIANS 12:4).
“For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many. If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling? But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. And if they were all one member, where would the body be?”
‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭12:13-19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
We all have a part to play, to serve God as He pleases. He has allocated to us our individual parts and gifts according to His will; we can't all choose the same part or have the same gifts, we must except our place, and serve God as He see's fit. Only then can God work through us all individually to bring us together like a well oiled machine to fulfil God’s plans and purposes here on earth.
To be a part of Christ body, one must submit to His five fold ministry, where every member falls into at least one of the five categories of His ministry.
Jesus Christ died on a cross to satisfy the Law and then was risen to form His eternal ministry and afford His people life everlasting.
“(Now this, “He ascended”—what does it mean but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth? He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.) And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭9‬-‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, if it’s not Christ five fold ministry (apostolic), it’s not of God and shall profit you nothing.
Their is but one head in Christ ministry, and every part is subject to the head, Jesus Christ.
The hand does not instruct the eye, nor the ears the foot. But the head instructs every member and every member is answerable to head. Furthermore, the right hand doesn’t always inform the left, so don’t mock because you don’t understand others calling (MATHEW 6:3-4).
Some allow envy, jealousy, and selfish ambitions to creep in-craving others calling and gifts. But not everyone will be a Prophet, nor will everyone be a teacher, and at times you may even be called to baby sit whilst the Pastor is preaching.
But every work and spiritual gift is important that we can all come together for God’s glory.
But know this, you are all apostles, prophets, teachers, pastors, and evangelist.
Therefore regardless of your calling which can change season to season, be thankful, after all, Jesus paid a high price for you, therefore serve Him unconditionally.
Salvation is about an individual pure intimate relationship with Christ, of which every member has a part to play.
When we look at Christian marriages, many fail. This is often because of two main reasons; lack of intimacy and a battle for control. The same can be said of ministry. It’s either man’s church, or Jesus’ church.
Don’t become captive to man’s church, it might feel good, but it may well take you to the pit.
When is comes to intimacy, the wife often becomes complacent and holds back, making all kinds of excuses, like, “he only wants me for one thing,” or “I’m too tired,” and such. The husband complains, “she doesn’t want me” or she can’t be bothered anymore,” and intimacy is allowed to become boring or even a chore, either way, they’re on a path of another broken marriage.
In our walk with God, Christ is the head and the groom in the relationship, and His body of people are His bride.
Submission and intimacy of every member is paramount to a successful and productive ministry, just as submission to the head, the groom (EPHESIANS 5:22-24), and intimacy is paramount to successful marriage.
Intimacy in marriage, is not just about the lust of the flesh. It can be the touch of the back of the hand, a kiss on the forehead, or holding hands walking together. But however, hold nothing back, for all things are clean by faith (ROMANS 14:14).
In ministry, it can be personal time with Christ or coming together in worship, or participating in communion. Again I say, hold nothing back; “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality.”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭23‬-‭25‬ ‭NKJV
Paul said, “Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. But I say this as a concession, not as a commandment.”
‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭7‬:‭3‬-‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Jesus, never fails or holds anything back from His bride, and we believers must not hold anything back from our spouse, including Him. Therefore, in the same way we come together in marriage, come together in worship often, praising Him and taking communion in loving fellowship.
“Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭19‬-‭25‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Jesus is the King of all Kings and Lord of all Lords-He is God, yet He came to serve. He humbled Himself and lived life as a slave, (PHILIPPIANS 2:5-6) every moment a sacrifice for you and me. He even washed the feet of His disciples (JOHN 13:5-12); that is you today, and then finally gave up His life on a cross that you might live. My beloved, why do so many hold back or complain?
Jesus said, “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.”
‭‭John‬ ‭15:16‬ ‭NKJV
If you have received Christ, you are more than privileged, for God knowing all your flaws and failures chose you to be His very own. He chose you to be a productive part of His body through relationship with Him for His glory not yours.
But as a result, you have it all. Whatever trials and challenges you face, the victory is already yours through Christ who is your strength (1 CORINTHIANS 15:57).
Furthermore, you have the confident hope of eternal life in paradise. Therefore rejoice! And be thankful; do your part within in the body of Christ by the leading of the Spirit; support and help one another and continue sharing the Good News, and live Godly lives worthy of your faith. After all, Jesus paid a very high price for you; indeed , He died for you. My beloved, are you ready to live for Him?
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
