PHILIPPIANS 2 5:11
“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Verses 5and 6 are one of the most powerful pieces of Scripture in the Bible that identifies Jesus Christ as God.
Though Christ is God, He became a man in order to fulfill God's plan of salvation. Christ didn't just have the appearance of being a man, He actually became human to start the work of building His church, and to identify with our sins and pay the debt of sin for all people.
Christ, voluntarily laid aside His devine rights and privileges, and lived the life of a slave; He humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminals death on a cross to be the human sacrifice to pay the wages of our sins, even though He never sinned, so that we wouldn't have to face eternal death. He did all this out of love, that each and every one of us might be saved.
My brethren, “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”
John 15:13 NKJV
Furthermore, Jesus in this passage, gives us believers an example to follow; to live our lives whether in our relationships with each other, in our marriages, in church, or in the streets and communities reaching out to the lost humbly as slaves to Christ, caring for all people as we care ourselves, putting others first according to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus said, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.””
Matthew 22:37-40 NKJV
The Pharisees didn’t quite understand Jesus words, so He said, ““You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.”
Matthew 5:43-48 NKJV
God glorified Christ because of His obedience; He raised Christ to His original position at the Fathers right hand, where He will reign forever as our Lord and saviour. “Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.”
Romans 8:30 NKJV
How can we do anything less than praise Jesus Christ our Lord and dedicate ourselves to His service?
Jesus told us, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.””
John 3:16-21 NKJV
Jesus came into the world to save us from our sin, but that doesn’t mean we can continue to live in it. We believers must make every effort to live holy lives in service to God-a living sacrifice (ROMANS 12:1-2).
Jesus’ first coming was to give each of us the opportunity of life. But He is to return to bring judgement and there will be consequences for all who do not believe on Christ (JOHN 3:18), the unforgiving consequence of eternal death.
My brethren, are you ready for the Lord’s return? We cannot continue to involve in the sin of this world.
Jesus return is imminent! He is coming to meet His people in the clouds to take us out of here (1 THESSALONIANS 4:16-17).
It’s just around the corner and the Lord is calling out to His people-“Be ready!” My beloved, don’t be left behind in this perverse world.
Whilst we are to reach out to the lost and broken, we cannot involve in this world.
Therefore, Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.” Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.””
II Corinthians 6:14-18 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
