For As A Body Has Many Members, So Also Is The Body Of Christ The Church

The Apostolic Movement Of Christ

1 CORINTHIANS 12:12
“For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.
”‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭12:12‬ ‭NKJV‬

We Spirit filled believers are all individual parts of God's body (the church); we all have an individual part to play in our service to God and are blessed with individual gifts, that we can serve accordingly to do our part within the body of Christ, and help and encourage one another; but the same Spirit is the source of them all
(1 CORINTHIANS 12:4)
“For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many. If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling? But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. And if they were all one member, where would the body be?”
‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭12:13-19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
We all have a part to play, to serve God as He pleases. He has allocated us our individual parts and gifts according to His will; we can't all choose the same part or have the same gifts, we must except our place, and serve God as He see's fit.
Only then can God work through us all individually to bring us together like a well oiled machine to fulfil God’s plans and purposes.
The church was never not meant to operate or be led by one Pastor, Vicar, or minister; that was man’s church.
The church was always meant to operate as an Apostolic movement, led by Christ Jesus, who is the head.
And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭11‬-‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
When Christ performed the first recorded miracle, He turned water into wine (JOHN 2:1-11). In answering Mary when she asked Him to help because at the wedding ceremony the wine was embarrassingly depleted, Jesus said, “Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come.””
‭‭John‬ ‭2‬:‭4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Six jars were filled with water and then supernaturally the water turned into wine.
The whole process was a prophetic message for us believers today.
The jars represent the new church and His chosen elite of today.
The old has gone and the new is here. That is why thousands of churches have closed over the past couple of years throughout Europe alone.
But today Jesus time has come and the new wine is being poured into new wine skins; His chosen people who have or are being prepared for such a time as this.
With new wine comes new power to serve at higher levels. Jesus said, ““Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭12‬-‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved that time has come; man’s old church is closing down and the new is here. God will work, speak, and operate through the whole congregation rather than through one minister as an Apostlc movement.
We are going to witness more and more the signs and wonders and the supernatural powers of God.
Some however, will allow envy, selfish ambitions, and jealousy to creep in-craving others calling and gifts and of course, in God’s timing, face the consequences of that.
But we must except that not everyone will be an Apostle, not everyone will be a Prophet, nor will everyone be a teacher or a Pastor, or a evangelist; but everyone will fall into at least on of these five categories.
But every work and spiritual gift is important that we can all work effectively together for God’s glory to bring about His plans and purposes.
Therefore regardless of your calling which can change from season to season, be thankful, after all, it’s not about “me,” but He who lives in me. It’s about reaching the lost sheep of Israel by sharing the Good News all around the world.
Jesus is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords; He is God, yet He came to serve.
He humbled Himself and lived life as a slave, (PHILIPPIANS 2:5-6) every moment a sacrifice for you and me. He even at the last supper, washed the feet of His disciples (JOHN 13:5-12), and then finally gave up His life on a cross to pay the debt of sin that you and I might live.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬-‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Jesus said, “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.”
‭‭John‬ ‭15:16‬ ‭NKJV
If you have received Christ, you are more than privileged, for God knowing all your flaws and failures chose you to be His very own.
He chose you to be productive for His glory not yours, but as a result, you have it all. Whatever trials and challenges you face, the victory is already yours through Christ (ROMANS 8:37).
Furthermore, you have the confident hope of eternal life in paradise.
Therefore rejoice! And be thankful; do your part within in the body of Christ by the leading of the Spirit; support and help one another and continue sharing the Good News in the streets and communities.
Jesus said, “: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭10‬:‭5‬-‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
