PSALM 27:11-14
“Teach me Your way, O LORD, And lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies. Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries; For false witnesses have risen against me, And such as breathe out violence. I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!

David obviously went through some serious trials and he knew from experience exactly what it meant to wait upon the Lord.
He had been anointed king at sixteen, but didn’t become king until he was thirty. During those years his life was under threat and he had been chased by jealous King Saul.
David had no choice but to wait on God for the fulfilment of his promise to reign. But he, in his present life, was confident that God would see Him through it all, and that he was safe in God’s hands.
Waiting on God is not always easy, and in these times of of darkness on this earth, many are becoming frustrated and fearful of the future. All are being affected as our health care systems are crashing, churches are closing, the darkness is closing in, and our world leaders do not to have the answers. Their response are destroying our monetary systems and economies. Many businesses have collapsed and unemployment is rising like never before-mans way is becoming more painful.
Like David, we believers need to give our troubles to God, and wait upon the Lord, for He has a wonderful plan in your life, and it shall come to pass in His perfect timing.
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
Romans 8:28 NKJV
“And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.””
Deuteronomy 31:8 NKJV
He has already made a way for His people and in His perfect timing He will remove the parasites that hold many in bondage.
He shall restore His church, and the government will stand upon the shoulders of Jesus Christ (ISAIAH 9:6).
Maybe our way of life may change, but whatever comes, God is in control and we are safe in His hands.
I encourage you, whatever struggles you are facing, whether in your work or in your private life, or within your ministry, whether you are a world leader or a slave, whatever the colour of your skin, or young or old, God has the answer; what is humanly impossible is possible with God (LUKE 18:27; MATHEW 19:26).
My beloved, no trouble is too big, too great, or indeed too small for Him, and that includes your personal situation.
Be patient, wait on the Lord, and ask Him like David, to teach you His ways and lead you on a smooth path. Put your trust in Him who loves you. Be of good courage and He shall strengthen you.
My beloved, so often our difficult situations come about through our own foolishness, “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.”
Romans 5:8-9 NKJV
I tell you again and again, ““Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.”
Jeremiah 17:7-8 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
