Praise Be To The Lord, To God Our Saviour, Who Daily Bears Our Burdens

He Never Stops Working

PSALM 68:18-21

“You have ascended on high, You have led captivity captive; You have received gifts among men, Even from the rebellious, That the LORD God might dwell there. Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, The God of our salvation! Selah Our God is the God of salvation; And to GOD the Lord belong escapes from death. But God will wound the head of His enemies, The hairy scalp of the one who still goes on in his trespasses.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭68:18-21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Here David sings out his appreciation to God. “Blessed be to the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits.”

Nothing has changed today. He is the God who saves! He is the sovereign Lord who rescues us from death and delivers us from the evil one; He will wound the heads of His enemies, The hairy scalp of the one who still goes on his trespasses.”

He never stops working; loading us with benefits and spiritual gifts (see EPHESIANS 4:1-16).

He is our provider, our protector, our healer, our redeemer, and deliverer (MATHEW 6:24-34), and our helper who will never leave us (JOHN 14:15-18).

Whatever is happening in our lives, whatever circumstance we face, whatever troubles come our way, God never stops working. He turns evil into good (GENESIS 50:20); He goes before us to prepare the way, and then goes with us through it all (DEUTERONOMY 31:8); “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

But those who are God’s enemies will be crushed. The trespassers will be evicted, “And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the Lord has said, Among the remnant whom the Lord calls.”

‭‭Joel‬ ‭2‬:‭32‬ ‭NKJV‬

Like David, we need to sing out our appreciation to God, He deserves every praise. He is our God the most High, and He never stops working in our lives.

You don’t have to be in church to sing praises to God. Sing at home, in the car, everywhere, anytime, any place.

Make time every day to sing out your praises to the most High. Show Him your appreciation, for He alone deserves all the praise and glory.

All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
