JOHN 3:16
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16 NKJV

This verse draws to focus the Good News of God’s love for all humanity; that He came not to condemn, but to save.
His love for us is selfless and unconditional. It reaches out and draws others in, and sets the patten of true love, the basis of all love relationships and on which all of Gods Laws and Prophets hang (MATHEW 22:40).
True love is far more than an emotional feeling or lust, it is an action that is selfless and unconditional. It is a duty of care.
When you truly love someone, you are willing to the point of self-sacrifice, to give and care freely, without expectation of something in return.
God paid the highest price possible, by sending His only begotten Son to pay our debt of our sin, even though He never sinned.
Jesus accepted our punishment, taking yours and my place on a cross that we might live forever with God in paradise.
Jesus said, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
John 10:10 NKJV
Many are repulsed by the thought of living forever because their lives are so stressful, meaningless, and miserable. But the truth is, eternal life with God is not merely an extension of our miserable mortal lives, but is embodied in Christ by the gift of the Holy Spirit (2 CORINTHIANS 1:22; EPHESIANS 1:13-14), and given to all believers now as a guarantee that they will live forever with God.
We can be confident that in our new gift of eternal life, their will be no more pain or suffering, no more sickness or death, nor mourning, nor loneliness or boredom, we can look forward to a wonderful productive endless future with God as He wipes away our every tear (REVELATION 21:3-4).
Salvation is, regardless of one’s past or even future sin, place of birth, skin colour, or any other circumstance, available to all.
One cannot purchase, buy, or earn salvation. It is simply a gift from God to all who believe, to all who put their trust in Christ and believe He alone can save us; that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.””
Romans 10:9-13 NKJV
Many say, God wouldn’t send “nice” people to eternal death, for by His grace we are saved.
But sadly, we are all sinners and in need of a Saviour.
Therefore, I ask you, by whose standards are people “nice”?
It is true that one is saved by God’s grace alone, but grace cannot override justice. If it could, then Jesus would have had no reason to suffer the pain of the cross to pay the debt of sin and justify our new lives in Christ.
The truth is, we cannot please God without faith (HEBREWS 11:6).
The gift of life has been fully paid, but to receive it one must apply Jesus spilled blood to his or her life by faith.
It is written, “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.” Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?” Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.””
Acts 2:36-39 NKJV
Do not put off until tomorrow the Good News of Jesus Christ, for tomorrow may well be too late.
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
