LUKE 2:11-14
“For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

The Jews at this time were waiting for a saviour to deliver them from Roman rule; others hoped that Christ would deliver them from their physical ailments.
But Jesus, while establishing a spiritual kingdom and healing their illnesses, delivered them and us today from all sin.
He paid our debt of sin by taking our place on a cross, opening a way to peace with God.
His offer is far more reaching than tempory political or physical changes, He offers us renewed hearts and minds that will last for all eternity. He makes way for us through the trials and challenges of today and gives us the confident hope of a wonderful eternal future.
Being saved is not a complicated process; it starts with relationship with Jesus Christ. Salvation does not rely on goods works or any religious actions; it does not rely on one’s power, strength, knowledge, or abilities; and is not affected by one’s sinful past, future mistakes, nor skin colour or place of birth.
Salvation comes through faith alone. “But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.””
Romans 10:8-13 NKJV
Belief and confidence in another comes through relationship. Faith in Christ comes the same way; the more one gets to know Him, the more he or she trust Him.
The works of the devil are very apparent in this world today; poverty, hardship, lawlessness, sexual immorality, drunkenness, pestilence, addictions, homelessness, unemployment, anxiety/ depression, suicides, and all kinds of corruption and meaningless controls on our lives. Jesus said, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
John 10:10 NKJV
My beloved, now would be a good time to turn to God in repentance and receive the gift of life Jesus is offering.
It is eternal and it can be yours in abundance. All you need do is believe.
Give yourself to Christ today, for tomorrow may be too late.
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
