1 JOHN 4:12-16
“No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

V
When we commit to God and become a true disciplined believer of Christ, we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit who lives in us (JOHN 14:15-17; ACTS 2:38).
He gives us the desire to do His will, and empowers us to do it (PHILIPPIANS 2:13). Furthermore, He empowers us to love each other because God loved us first (v 16-19).
Love in itself is a weapon of mass destruction against the enemy and covers a multitude of sins (1PETER 4:8). Gods love is selfless and unconditional and asks for nothing back in return. It is His love that empowers forgiveness, radiates from believers and empowers them to care for others, not seeking their own profit, but the profit of many (1 CORINTHIANS 10:31-33).
God’s loving presence in our life is proof that we belong to Him; that He lives in us, and us in Him.
To be a believer, not only must one believe Jesus is God, but also, that He is the Son of God who came in human form to save the world.
Salvation cannot come from holy living or good works, for it is too late for that, for all have sinned. But rather, comes from faith alone, that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (ROMANS 10:9).
By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ came in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Anti-Christ, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 JOHN 4:3-4). Indeed, the same power that created the heavens and the earth, and the very same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in you, empowering you to overcome every trial, every challenge, every addiction, and every sin, however impossible that may seem.
Furthermore, as a disciplined believers of Christ, you have authority over even the demons (LUKE 10:17).
My brethren, the time has come for us to walk in the authority and power that Jesus has given us; “And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.”
Matthew 10:7-8 NKJV
The truth is, nothing is too big or insignificant for God; therefore you can do all things through Christ who is your strength (PHILIPPIANS 4:13).
My beloved, even the impossible, for what is impossible for humans, is possible with God (LUKE 18:27; MATHEW 19:26).
Therefore, humble yourselves before God and be obedient to Him, for that is the least you can do (ROMANS 12:1-2). Afterall, He paid a high price for you on a cross, Indeed, for all humanity, for “He wants no one to perish, but for all to turn to Him in repentance (2 PETER 3:9).”
“Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. Give no offense, either to the Jews or to the Greeks or to the church of God, just as I also please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.”
I Corinthians 10:31-33 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
