If You Think You Are Wise By This Worlds Standards, You Need To Become A Fool To Be Truly Wise

1 CORINTHIANS 3:18-21

“Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness”; and again, “The LORD knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.” Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours:”

Rather than telling the Corinthian believers to neglect the pursuit of knowledge, Paul was warning them not to glory in the wisdom of this age.

The truth is, God’s way of thinking is far above ours. “He knows the futile thoughts of the “wise.” “Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.”

The Corinthians were boasting about the wisdom of their leaders and teachers, and their pride led them to value the messenger more than the message. 

Today, we see some great leaders and teachers through the media, great technology and achievements. But our trust must remain in God, for it is Him alone who is able and deserves all the glory, not your pastor or religious leaders, government, or scientists.

Furthermore, their are many false teachers and prophets sent to deceive us. Jesus said, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.”

My brethren, it is God alone that deserves all the glory, for nothing exist without Him (JOHN 1:3), as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the LORD.””

Many are deceived today because God’s truth is far from man’s truth, just as His wisdom is far above man’s wisdom. God’s truth only comes from the Spirit of truth who God sent to us who believe individually as a helper (JOHN 14:15-18).

Therefore, unless your pastor, vicar, teacher, or minister is operating in the Spirit, you will not receive truth from him even if he’s Spirit filled, which is why we must test and approve everything we hear in God’s Word and Spirit.

Therefore, my “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.”

The Lord tells us through Hosea, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.”

My beloved, over 6000 churches have closed down throughout Europe in the last few years as God dismantles the old man made church put together by the likes of the Pharisees.

He did use the old church for the past two thousand years, but it is time now for the new; to come together in Christ true ministry, the five fold ministry of Christ (EPHESIANS 4:11).

We are living out the last days and God saved the best until last, and is pouring out the new wine as in the first miracle (JOHN 2:1-11).

The new wine spoken of the first miracle, was a prophetic representation of the powers and freedoms that God is pouring out into the body of Christ today. “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭11‬-‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Many are trying to hold on to the old, for Jesus told us, “No one puts a piece from a new garment on an old one; otherwise the new makes a tear, and also the piece that was taken out of the new does not match the old. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine will burst the wineskins and be spilled, and the wineskins will be ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins, and both are preserved. And no one, having drunk old wine, immediately desires new; for he says, ‘The old is better.’ ””

‭‭Luke‬ ‭5‬:‭36‬-‭39‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Do not be deceived my beloved, unless it is the apostolic five fold ministry of Christ, it shall profit you nothing.

No one will find the truth in men, but Jesus said, ““Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

My beloved, without the truth you shall continue to live a lie and remain in bondage, but “Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, ‘You will be made free’?” Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”

‭‭John‬ ‭8‬:‭31‬-‭36‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

My brethren, seek God while He can be found, not via men, but on your knees in prayer, for “it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the Lord has said, Among the remnant whom the Lord calls.”

‭‭Joel‬ ‭2‬:‭32‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

But the truth is, if you continue living a religious lie, you shall remain in bondage, you shall remain on the same roundabout of despair, poverty, addiction, Ill health, anxiety, depression, and all kinds of lack. 

As Hosea told us, My people are destroyed by lack of knowledge.

Until one knows the truth of Jesus Christ, he cannot be spiritually cleansed because he doesn’t have truth.

But the truth sets one free to be delivered from the old to the new; to be able to truly walk as born again members of Gods family; as true sons and daughters of the Most High. Therefore, if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed.
