Each Of You Should Use Whatever Gift You Have Received To Serve Others

Jesus Is The Only High Position

1 PETER 4:10-11

As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.”

‭‭I Peter‬ ‭4:10-11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

God has given each of us spiritual gifts for the purpose of helping, edifying , and serving one another that we may serve in unity together within the body of Christ.

“There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.”

‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭12:4-11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Our God given abilities should be faithfully used in God’s power in serving and helping others, not for our own exclusive ambitions and enjoyment, but rather for the glory of God.

Some believers think they have the right to use their gifts as they please, for their own personal gain, others do not recognise they have gifts, they don’t believe they have any special talents at all.

But Peter addresses both these groups.

Everyone is gifted in one way or another. If you don’t recognise your gifts, ask God to reveal them to you and teach you to operate in them by the leading of the Holy Spirit.

By His leading, we are all called to work together under the Lordship of Christ, as one body, the church.

“For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body— whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.”

‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭12:12-13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Since we are all led by the same Spirit, we must all submit to the Lord by walking (operating) by the leading of the Spirit in us (see JOHN 14:15-18; GALATIANS 5:26:26), working together in unity like a well oiled machine.

Repentance is turning from my sinful ways towards God, and to do Gods will rather than mine.

Church is not supposed to be a business where all are in competition with one another, reaching for high position, Jesus is the only high position, He is the head, and He is the One to please.

Non of the congregation is less important than the so called leadership.

All members are of equal value and are called to operate and work together by the leading of the Holy Spirit. “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭11‬-‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

This Scripture is referring to the whole congregation, not just those who assume leadership.

Some are apostles, some Prophets, others are evangelists, Pastors, and teachers, but all operate with the five offices of Christ ministry.

Therefore, don’t silence the congregation, let them speak; allow them to  use their God given spiritual gifts and do their job, for man’s rules and controls suppress the Spirit and restrict the move of God.

Speaking to the whole church, “I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling;

one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:1-4, 6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

My brethren, allow God to move, cooperate with Him, give Him dominion over your life, your decisions, your goals and your ambitions.

Present yourself a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, for this is the least you can do, and do not be conformed to this world, but rather be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you come to understand what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God (ROMANS 12:1-2).

My beloved, lay everything down, your whole life and allow the Spirit to flow freely, for revival is here; it has begun in America and is spreading; it is gaining momentum and will continue to grow all around the world, including in countries like China!

Any person, god, or object that try’s to stop God’s move will simply be mowed down.

Therefore, go with Him and humbly serve as His glory falls and God reveals Himself to the world.

Be a beacon of light for the lost find their way to Christ, and see it as the last call before Jesus returns and be ready.

But be mindful my beloved, whilst you are called to share the Good News of Christ, “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.” Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.””

‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭14‬-‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
