V
David knew from experience what it meant to wait upon the Lord. He was anointed king at the young age of sixteen, but didn't actually become king until he was thirty.
During the interim, he had been chased through the wilderness by a very jealous king Saul. David had to wait on God for the fulfilment of his promise to reign.
When he became king, he was then chased by his rebellious son, Absalom.
Waiting for God isn't always easy, it often feels like God hasn't heard our prayers, or isn't answering them, or He doesn't understand the urgency of our situation; sometimes it feels like we are losing everything and have been abandoned completely.
That kind of thinking implies that God is not in control or doesn't care, but the truth is, God is always in control; He knows exactly what He is doing and the right time to act; He knows what is needed in your life to heal, build and change the way you think, and get your priorities in order.
The change He brings in our lives is for our good not evil, (JEREMIAH 29:11). He is certainly worth waiting for.
LAMENTATIONS 3:24-26 calls us to hope in Him and wait for the Lord, because He often uses time of waiting to refresh, renew, and teach us as He leads us through our trials and challenges (see JAMES 1:2-4).
Make good of your waiting times by discovering what God may be trying to teach you. Take in the Scripture and ask for revelation.
Put your trust in God, for He knows the best timing for your life and situations, even when it doesn't feel that.
The truth is, we see the picture in part, but God sees the whole picture and acts accordingly for the long-term, not the temporary of this world. Furthermore, we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
