The Lord Says, "These People Come Near To Me With Their Mouth And Honor Me With Their Lip, But Their Hearts Are Far From Me

The New Church Of Jesus Christ

ISAIAH 29:13-15
“Therefore the Lord said: “Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths And honor Me with their lips, But have removed their hearts far from Me, And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men, Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work Among this people, A marvelous work and a wonder; For the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, And the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.” Woe to those who seek deep to hide their counsel far from the Lord, And their works are in the dark; They say, “Who sees us?” and, “Who knows us?”
”‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭29:13-15‬ ‭NKJV‬

The people claimed to be close to God, but they were far from close, they was disobedient and merely went through the motions; therefore, God would bring judgment upon them. This is a picture of the old church system of today. It strike me that God Said, "These people", not "My people".

Therefore my beloved, be certain that you are in the right house.

Religion had become routine instead of real.
Jesus quoted Isaiah's condemnation of Israel 's hypocrisy when he spoke to the Pharisees, the religious leaders of His day (MATHEW 15:7-9; MARK 7:6-7).
We are all capable of hypocrisy. Often slipping into routine patterns when we worship, and neglect to give our God our full love and devotion.
If we want to be called God’s people, we must act like His people, being obedient to His Word, putting into practice everything we have learned from him (PHILIPPIANS 4:9; JOHN 13:17).
We must live as citizens of God, every day, serving, not just attending on Sunday in church or when on show.
Today, the old church system of man is being dismantled, the wisdom of it’s wise men shall perish, and the understanding of its prudent men shall be hidden. For the old has gone and the new is here.
As in the first miracle of Jesus Christ, the old wine has become depleted and the new is pouring out, for Jesus time is now (JOHN 2:1-11).
“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.“
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭11‬-‭16‬ NKJV
This is Christ apostolic church that shall operate through the whole body, not just a small circle of the pastor’s friends. Not controlled by a pastor, vicar, or priest, nor headed by the pope, for Christ is the head, and He Himself shall lead His body through the indwelling Holy Spirit in His people.
“For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many.“
‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭12‬-‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, the new wine is here, and with new wine, comes new power and new freedoms, for the kingdom is here. It’s time to hand the reins to Jesus Christ and let Him have His way; not that anyone or anything can stop Him.
Jesus said, ”“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.“
‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭12‬-‭14‬ NKJV
My beloved, ”This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. But you have not so learned Christ, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.“
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭17‬-‭24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Many today, even those in church and world leadership, like the people of Jerusalem think that God can’t see their evil deeds and that He doesn’t know what is happening; they have tried to hide or justify their evil schemes of power, manipulation, and control, but nothing gets past God.
Truly I tell you, justice is coming. “Therefore do not fear our corrupt governments and leaders. “For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭10:26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
It seems strange to me that so many people think they can hide from God.
In PSALM 139 we learn that God has examined us and knows everything about us; the truth is no one can hide anything from God, He see's absolutely everything one does, says, and even thinks.
Nothing gets past Him, and there will always be consequences of our actions, both good and evil.
We cannot continue in this life of sin and expect it to be good; we must be willing to change from our sinful nature, following the leading of the holy Spirit and putting into practice everything we have learned from Christ; not some of the time, but all of the time.
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.“
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
