We believers are all called to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. But we should always be wise in our contact with unbelievers, making the most of every opportunity to tell them all about Jesus; but at the same time, being courteous and showing them respect. The truth is, no matter how much sense the message makes, we will lose our effectiveness if we are not courteous.
Furthermore, what we say is either a blessing or a curse (JAMES 3:10). Therefore, speak out of the love of Christ without compromise the truth in all things with wisdom by the leading of the Holy Spirit, “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.”
II Corinthians 10:3-6 NKJV
As Christians, we must be seen as different, loving, kind, and ready to help those in need, without any hidden agendas. It is by our actions and the way we live that will attract people to Christ; how we behave and what we do must match what we say, that we shine for Christ.
My brethren, Paul tells us, “Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.”
Philippians 2:14-16 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
