PSALM 91:1-6
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

Psalm 91, composed by Moses, on the day he completed the building of the Tabernacle in the desert.
These verses describe Moses own experience as he entered the Tabernacle and is an encouragement for believers today, that he who dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
The writers faith in God as a protector would carry him through all the dangers and fears of life.
Since God is a shelter and a refuge when we are afraid, his faith should be a picture of our trust in God, trading all our fears for faith in Him, however intense our fears become, even in the midst of the darkness of this world today.
God is and always was in control.
By entrusting ourselves to His protection; living and resting in Him, and by pledging our daily devotion to Him, we will be kept safe in the secret place of the Most High, and shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
He will protect us and rescue us from the traps of the devil-the snare of the fowler and from deadly diseases-perilous pestilence.
My brethren, just as chicks take refuge under the wings of the mother hen, so we take refuge in God’s perfect care; He is our “buckler”, our shield and protector, His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
The truth is, whatever is happening in our lives or in this dark world, we are safe in God’s capable hands.
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things (ROMANS 8:31-32).
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
