JOHN 3:16-17
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
”John 3:16-17 NKJV

V
As prophecied throughout the Old Testament, at the right time, Jesus, who is God, was born to a virgin women whose name is Mary. He lived a holy life (perfection in every way, shape, or form)), setting a perfect moral standard, resisting all temptation and sin.
Through His miracles, wisdom, and teachings, and His unconditional love, He revealed the power and the presence of God.
Jesus, allowed Himself to be killed as a sacrifice for your sins and mine, taking our place on a cross, even though He never sinned; He being God in human form (PHILIPPIANS 2:6) was the only perfect sacrifice that covered all sin, satisfying the law; and by that, He made way for us to be saved from the wages of sin, eternal death.
At His death, He went down into hell for three days and then was raised to life, conquering death forever. Amazingly, while in the depths of hell, He preached to the spirits in prison who formerly were disobedient (1 PETER 3:19-20), providing hope to those who were formerly lost in hades (the grave), first death.
Today, He empowers His people (believers) through the Holy Spirit with the same power that raised Christ from the dead, to serve and continue the work of undoing the devil’s deeds and sharing the Good News until Christ returns to defeat His enemies once and for all time, and rule as Sovereign over all forever.
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me (JOHN 14:6).
Jesus is the only way to salvation, their is no other way, person, god, or route to salvation. Sin justified death, the wages of sin, but Christ satisfied the Law on a cross justifying life for all believers. No other person or god has dealt with the wages of sin, only Jesus could do that and He did by taking yours and my place on a cross.
You cannot buy or earn salvation, it is too late to be saved by works, for we have all sinned and earned our just wages, death. If we say I never sinned, we are calling God a liar (1 JOHN 1:8-10).
Therefore, only by faith in Christ Jesus can one be saved.
Jesus said this truth in a variety of ways:
“I am the door, if anyone enters by Me, He will be saved (JOHN 10:9).”
“If you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins (JOHN 8:24)”.
Jesus is the way today, whatever your struggles, He goes before you to make a way, and then He is at your side to go through it all with you (DEUTERONOMY 31:8), He turns your impossible situation into possible (LUKE 18:27; MATHEW 19:26), and whatever happens, God causes all things to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for Him (ROMANS 8:28).
He is the truth, the only truth we can rely on today; it is His truth that shall set us free from all bondage and lies of the devil (JOHN 8:31-32). He is God cannot lie or break His promises, so you can stand upon His promises.
He is the life, the resurrected life that defeated death and gives all believers resurrection life today, tomorrow, and forever; He is the example to follow, and the only way to the Father and eternal life.
My beloved, it’s this simple: If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (ROMANS 10:10).
Jesus said, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
John 10:10 NKJV
We see the works of the thief (the devil) in this dark world today; pestilence, poverty, addiction, anxiety/ depression, suicide, health issues, broken marriages, lawlessness, unemployment, failing businesses, unnecessary restrictions and laws; our lives and freedoms are being stolen in this corrupt world, but Jesus came to give you life, and that you may have it more abundantly.
If you haven’t already, humble yourself before God, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.””
Acts 2:38-39 NKJV
Jesus is the only way; He paid a high price for you; therefore, give yourselves over to Him today with a simple prayer and receive His gift of life; it’s a free gift and all you need do is say thank You and believe.
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
