““Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”
Matthew 7:13-14 NKJV
The gate to eternal life is narrow and the way can be difficult, but Jesus said, “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.”
John 10:9 NKJV
That does not mean it Is difficult to become a Christian; on the contrary, it’s quite a simple process.
My beloved, you can’t buy or earn Salvation, for we have already closed that door because we are all sinners, therefore, no difficult task to do, just believe on Jesus Christ, “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Romans 10:9 NKJV
However, their will be battles with our rival the devil; Jesus said, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
John 10:10 NKJV
The devil will do everything and anything in his power to steal your gift of life.
He will bring temptations and tribulations; he will attack your finances, your relationships, your marriages, your children, and even your health to destroy your faith.
Their is nothing he won’t do to destroy your faith and your identity in Christ. He knows without faith, you cannot be saved.
My beloved, though he hates you with avengeance, including you people who knowingly worship him, he wants to own you and will use every form of deceit to achieve his goals.
But Jesus, however great your sins, loves you more than you can ever begin to imagine. He came to give you life, that you may have it more abundantly.
“Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
John 14:6 NKJV
Jesus is the only way to eternal life.
Many believe in many ways, but the truth is, Jesus is the only way; He is our Lord and Saviour, and all authority over heaven and earth is His (MATHEW 28:18).
Mary deserves respect, after all, she was chosen to bring Christ into the world. But she can not help you, she was and still is as all Gods people, a servant of God (LUKE 1:38).
My beloved, because she has passed, it is sinful to even try to speak to her (LEVICTICUS 19:31; ISAIAH 8:19; DEUTERONOMY 18::10-14).
The truth is, your pastor can help you more, at least he is alive. But even he cannot save you. He can teach, encourage, and pray for you, but he cannot force you to believe nor write your name into the book of life.
Their is no religious organisation, nor person or any other god that can save you.
Your money can’t save you, nor status. Furthermore, being nice won’t save you, nor your good deeds, for their is no other that can legally give you the gift of life.
The truth is, no other religious organisation deals with the problem of sin and it’s consequences; no religious organisation has the authority to do that.
My beloved, we are all individually responsible to work out our own salvation.
Paul said, “Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain. Yes, and if I am being poured out as a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all. For the same reason you also be glad and rejoice with me.”
Philippians 2:12-18 NKJV
God is a God of love, but also He is a God of justice, and therefore, there will always be consequences for our actions, good and evil.
He didn’t die to justify sin, nothing can justify that; He died to justify your new life in Christ.
Only He can do that because it is only He who has the authority (MATHEW 28:18) and it was He who took your place on a cross to pay the debt of sin that you owe.
Your debt of death was paid in full by the blood of Jesus Christ. But one must believe to receive, for without faith it is impossible to please God (HEBREWS 11:6).
Their are always consequences for our actions; the consequence of sin is death.
It doesn’t matter how much your pastor, or even Mary, or your local vicar, or even the pope pleads for you, justice will come, and without the blood of Jesus, everyone is guilty and will pay the consequence.
But it was Jesus who died as an act of love to take that consequence upon Himself that you might live.
“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”
John 15:13 NKJV
Jesus is the truth that can set you free and give you life, that you have it more abundantly.
Put your trust in Him. “For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.””
Romans 10:13 NKJV
But their are conditions: commitment, repentance, and forgiveness are all part of the package.
If you haven’t already, submit to His conditions and give your life to Christ, be right with Him today, for tomorrow may be too late.
I tell you the truth, ““Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.”
Jeremiah 17:7-8 NKJV
All glory to God for ever and ever! Amen.
