Isaiah 26 is a Prophetic message for us today to warn, help and encourage us as we come face to face with the promised Tribulation.
We all face strife in this world and that’s not going to stop until the end, but the result of settled faith in YAH (God), their is perfect peace, and that peace is available to all believers.
Faith in God is the way to have inner peace, the peace of God which surpasses all understanding that literately guards one’s heart and mind through Christ (PHILIPPIANS 4:7).
One must come to the point of recognising our own sinfulness and his or her need for redemption before he or she can find true peace with God and others.
As we focus on God, His word, surrounded by His unchanging love, and supported by His unlimited power, we are not shaken by our surrounding circumstances.
I encourage you, whatever impossible situation you are facing, God loves you, He is in control, and He will use it for your long-term good. He causes all things to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them (ROMANS 8:28).
When the disciples were facing the most horrendous storm, Peter put his focus on Jesus and was able to walk on the water. But when he heard the howling wind, he looked up at the stormy sea, his focus changed from Jesus to the circumstance, fear set in and he started to sink. But Jesus was right there, He reached down and took Peter’s hand and led him back to the safety of the boat and then immediately calmed the storm-the wind stopped and peace was restored (MATHEW 14:24-32).
When you remain focused on Jesus, you, like Peter, can literally walk on the water above the storm you’re in. But even if you’re overwhelmed by the noise of the storm and you start to sink, Jesus is always close enough to reach out and stop you from going under. He will make a way for you through every trial and test and He will not allow you to be tested you more than you can stand (1 CORINTHIANS 10:13).
Keep your focus on Christ rather than the horrendous storm you are facing and know that you are safe in His hands, and always within His reach knowing that God is using your impossible circumstance to teach and mould you into the likeness of Christ.
James said, “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”
James 1:2-4 NKJV
Therefore, trust in the Lord forever and know that you already have the victory in every storm, even in death through Christ and His resurrection power; you are forever safe in His hands.
“For in YAH, the Lord, is everlasting strength.”
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
