The Lord Will Be King Over The Whole Earth

ZECHARIAH 14:9-10
“And the LORD shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be— “The LORD is one,” And His name one. All the land shall be turned into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be raised up and inhabited in her place from Benjamin’s Gate to the place of the First Gate and the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s winepresses.

This chapter (verses 1-21) portrays the Messiah’s eventual triumph over all the earth and His reign over God’s people.
Though the chronology order of these events is not clear, they show God has many ways of dealing with His people.
Today, as we look on, we can see the events unfolding-our world leaders are taking us into the direction of the cashless society and the mark of the beast (REVELATION 13:11-18).
My brethren, it’s all but over. Thank God, He is faithful to provide an escape for His people.
Jerusalem is the city of God and the focal point of all the world’s worship.
Jerusalem’s honour and elevation dramatically shows God’s supremacy over all.
He has no equal, no rival, and His name is above every name; He will reign forever and every promise He has made will come to pass.
My beloved, that day is fast approaching and it is encouraging to know that “God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.””

But the question is, are we ready! “For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”

Be prepared for the hour is fast approaching.
Jesus said, “”Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.”

But what are these things? And when did they start?
Jesus said, “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.”

It’s not difficult to understand that Nation will rise against nation was the beginning of sorrows which started in 1914 with the First World War.
Furthermore, Jesus told us, “Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.”

One hundred and ten years later this generation is close to finish, and we are being haunted by the fret of world war three, and yet this generation will by no means pass away until all these things take place.
My beloved be ready, whilst planning in wisdom for tomorrow, live each day like it is your last; for “the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.” Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.”

My beloved this is the time of the new wine, and just as said in Jesus’ first miracle, He kept the best until last (JOHN 2:1-11).
He is at the wine press bringing the new wine for His five fold ministry. “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”

The old church system that Christ used for over two thousand years is being systematically dismantled, and as a result we see thousands of closed churches worldwide.
But the new is hear and the glory of the Lord shall be seen in every corner of the world.
Jesus said, ““Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”

But still many church leaders are trying to hold on to the old, turning to all kinds of schemes to fund their churches and keep their jobs.
Ministry is not supposed to be a career choice, it is a calling, and God is calling those stuck in the old,out.
My beloved, just as God spoke through Paul to the Corinths, he is speaking to the church today.
“O Corinthians! We have spoken openly to you, our heart is wide open. You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted by your own affections. Now in return for the same (I speak as to children), you also be open. Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.” Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.””
‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭11‬-‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, Jesus “spoke a parable to them: “No one puts a piece from a new garment on an old one; otherwise the new makes a tear, and also the piece that was taken out of the new does not match the old. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine will burst the wineskins and be spilled, and the wineskins will be ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins, and both are preserved. And no one, having drunk old wine, immediately desires new; for he says, ‘The old is better.’ ””

My beloved, it is time to let go of the old and embrace the new, for the glory of God is coming in.
I tell you again and again, unless it’s Jesus five fold ministry, it shall prophet you nothing.
