HEBREWS 10:19-25
“Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

How can we go right into the presence of God?
We can not come half heartedly or with improper motives or pretence, but with pure, and individual worship. We can know that we have "sincere hearts" by evaluating our thoughts and motives according to God's Word (see 4:12).
We Spirit filled believers can approach God boldly, free from our "guilty consciences" and in full assurance of the work of Christ Jesus. We can go to God without doubting, with the knowledge that He will hear and answer us.
Under the new covenant, our hearts and consciences are cleansed completely, not partially or temporarily (see 9:14).
Our clean consciences allow us to enter God's presence with boldness.
In Old Testament times a priest would enter the Holy of Holies once a year to ask mercy for the people (HEBREWS 9:7). It is said, that he would have a rope attached to his ankle because if he had any sin in him, he would not come out alive, and therefore, he would be pulled out by the rope.
But today because Jesus paid our debt of sin with His own blood, we believers can enter fully in by the blood of the Lamb because despite our past sins and future mistakes, the slate is clean (ROMANS 8:1).
My brethren we believers are truly blessed because Jesus is the High priest that pleads our case for forgiveness, and since He is the coming judge that shall decide our eternal future, our future is sealed in heaven.
The imagery of our bodies having been "washed" with pure water and by blood (1 JOHN 5:6) actually pictures an inward cleansing that Christ completes.
Just as baptism is an outward sign that represents the purification that Christ does inside us, so this washing speaks of an internal cleansing from sin.
Once cleansed, we can approach God with boldness.
As Christians we have significant privileges associated with our new life in Christ: We have personal access to God through Christ and can draw near to him without an elaborate or complicated system (10:22); we can grow in faith, overcome doubts and questions, and deepen our relationship with God (10:23); we can enjoy motivation from one another (10:24); we can worship, study, and pray together (10:25), even more importantly, we have the indwelling holy Spirit to teach, lead, and guide us in all truth (JOHN 14:15-18), who is also our guarantee of salvation (EPHESIANS 1:13-14); 2 CORINTHIANS 1:22).
To neglect Christian meetings or attend a fake church, is to give up opportunities of encouragement, to grow, learn, and to help and encourage other believers. Assembly isn’t optional, it is a command from God and apart of every believers service to the Lord within the five fold ministry of Christ, where every member of the congregation is an individual part of the whole body and are called to do there part; ”And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.“
I Corinthians 12:26 NKJV
Furthermore, every member falls into at least one of the five categories of Christ’ ministry, apostles, prophets, teachers, pastors, and evangelist, andis called to operate accordingly (EPHESIANS 4:11).
If it’s not Christ’ five fold ministry, your attendance will prophet you nothing, in deed, may even cause you harm.
We gather together for fellowship, to sing our praises to God-to express our love in Him through worship; and to join together in prayer, share our faith, learn, and strengthen and edify one another in the Lord using our God given spiritual gifts (1 CORINTHIANS 12).
We should come together with expectation to sing praises together, to participate together in discussion as the Spirit leads, and to pray for one another to bring about healing and assurance through our daily trials and challenges.
If God is in the room, we shall experience the signs and wonders of Christ (MARK 16:17-18).
As we come closer to the day Jesus' returns, we will face many struggles, trials and challenges, and times of persecution; the truth is, anti-Christian forces will grow in strength. But these challenges should never be excuses for failing to assemble or study together in fellowship. Rather, as more difficulties arise, we should make an even greater effort to assemble.
Jesus way of life, His Laws, His plans and purposes, are all grounded in love (MATHEW 22:36:40; MARK 12:29-31; LUKE 10:27).
“Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.“
Colossians 3:12-17 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
