V
The heart, the place where we store all that we believe is true, and is connected to our soul, our mind, will, and emotions and is the place where renewal begins.
It is in your minds and hearts that God starts a good work within you, and I am certain He will continue His good work until it is finally finished on the day Christ Jesus returns (PHILIPPIANS 1:6).
God starts a good work of removing all that is wrong in our hearts; all the false beliefs and lies that have influenced us and drawn us away from God, and driven us into unhealthy desires and actions, and replaces them with His love and His truth, for it is the truth that sets you free (JOHN 8:31-32).
The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth (JOHN 16:13), if we cooperate with Him, shall transforms us into new people (ROMANS 12:1-2), giving us the desire and power to do what pleases Him (PHILIPPIANS 2:13).
Truly, we shall find our true individual purpose in life and who we really are, and what makes us truly happy and content.
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
Romans 12:1-2 NKJV
This is truly the way to worship our Almighty God; He deserves all our praise and more.
Don’t copy the behaviour and customs of this world, but rather, step back from the world and what it has to offer, and let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will come to understand what is that good, and acceptable and God’s perfect will for you.
Transformation does not come easy; it can be painful and comes through our trials, challenges, and testings, combined with taking in His Word, prayer, assembly, study, and fellowship.
James told us, “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”
James 1:2-4 NKJV
Patients opens the heart to Forgiveness and love of which both are a condition of one’s salvation (MATHEW 6:14-15).
Jesus said, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.””
Matthew 22:37-40
Love is the foundation of God way of life; it is contagious and powerful and brings about peace.
It is far more than an emotion or feeling; it is choice to care about others as one cares for himself. The truth is, if everyone chose to love their neighbours as themselves, this world would quickly become a better place to live.
My beloved, “Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”
I Corinthians 13:8-13 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
