Jesus Is The Only Way

PROVERBS 19:21
“There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand.

V

We all make plans, but God’s plan will always stand. Nothing can stop God’s plans that He made from the beginning of creation and why would anyone want to?
God’s plan from beginning and throughout all eternity is perfect and cannot be bettered nor changed. He and all His creation is holy, absolute perfection.
I imagine the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in counsel (in a meeting) discussing, contemplating, and planning in every tiny detail all creation, the heavens and the earth and everything in it; including you and your life; Gods perfect plan.
When a car manufacturer creates a new car, it starts of in the planning stages. The designers know the basic purpose of the vehicle is to take them from A to B, but then they look at its particular purposes and plan its gifts.
For example: how many seats; does it require four wheel drive, they consider luggage space; speed; comfort; sat-nav, and so on. Then they build the vehicle with its gifts according to its particular purpose. They name and finally, they give an instruction manual on how best to use and take care of it to get the best out of it.
They put their name badge on it, and give it warranty. If your new car fails within the warranty period, the manufacturer, will fix it free of charge, not because they are kind or because they like you, but for their name’s sake.
In the same way, when God planned your life, He already knew His plan and purpose for you.
He gifted you physically and spiritually to do all the things He has planned for your life (see 1 CORINTHIANS 12).
Maybe He gifted you with prophecy, or healing, or with a beautiful voice to sing, or the ability to teach, or to preach. But the truth is, if you stick to God’s plan, you will come to realise your full potential and you will have overall victory through Christ who is your strength (PHILIPPIANS 4:13).
I imagine the Father saying in their meeting: “what if these humans mess up and fall into sin; that would cut their life short and damage our reputation?” Then I imagine Jesus saying, “I know, I will go to earth in human form and die on a cross to pay the debt of their sin, giving them the opportunity of forgiveness and eternal life; and at the same time, protecting Our good reputation.” Father, when I return , You could send Your Holy Spirit to help them live right.”
The Holy Spirit is our guarantee that He will give us the inheritance He promised (EPHESIANS 1:13-14; 2 CORINTHIANS 1:22) and that He purchased us to be His very own people. He did this out of His selfless love (JOHN 3:16) and so we would praise and glorify Him (EPHESIANS 1:14).
But to receive the Holy Spirit one must be believe and be committed to God. For it is written, ““If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14:15-18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
The Holy Bible, whilst startling out as a book of prophecy, is day by day turning into a book of history; it is a book of immense power.
It is more than a simple book of words put together by human authors. It is a weapon of mass destruction against the devil, an instruction book on how to live, and brings change from within; it changes our very nature (ROMANS 12:1-2). “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
The truth is, the Word is God. For “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬-‭5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
The Word is God, exposing all darkness and is working through us to bring transformation as we take it in. Furthermore, it is our instruction manual on how to live right.
Read it, learn it, receive it and digest it; put into practice all you learn from it, and get the best out of your life.
It gives individual instruction for pretty much every circumstance. Whether married, single, young, or old; whatever your calling or career; it is personal instruction for you.
My brethren, it is wise to commit our plans to the Lord (16:3). When one’s plans oppose the Lord as in Psalm 2:1-3, that person may become Gods enemy.
But he whose ways are from God will certainly succeed (16:1 and 9).
The truth is, God is working in us believers, giving us the desire and the power to do what pleases Him (PHILIPPIANS 2:13).
He gave His Holy Spirit to His people to lead them in righteousness according to His plans and purposes. The truth is, we can choose my way or God’s way, but we cannot live in God’s kingdom with one’s foot in the world.
“I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:16-26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
God loves you; furthermore He died for you, paying your debt in full, that you might live, giving you a way to have peace and joy in today’s world and for all eternity.
If you haven’t already, commit your life to Jesus; He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
