Open The Door And Let Him In

JEREMIAH 29:11-14
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.
”‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11-14‬ ‭NKJV‬

Even though they were captives in Babylon, God did not forget His people. He planned from the beginning to take them from their captives and give them a new beginning with a new purpose; to turn them into a new people.
At times, in dire circumstances, when trouble comes in, it can feel like God has forgotten us. But from beginning of creation itself, God said, “I know the thoughts I have toward you, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
I encourage you, whatever dire circumstances you are facing right now; God knows about it, and He has a plan for you; Yes you!!! All you need do is search for Him with all your heart and you shall find Him; pray to Him and He shall hear you.
God hasn’t forgotten you; it may be that He is preparing you as He did the people of Judah for a new beginning with Him in the centre.
The truth is, God causes all things to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according His purpose for them (ROMANS 8:28).
Although the exiles were in a difficult place and time, they didn’t need to despair because they had God’s presence, the privilege of prayer, and God’s grace.
Nothing has changed; If you seek God, He will be found. Neither a strange land, sorrow, persecution, sin, or any physical problems can break our fellowship with God.
Therefore, keep asking, seeking, and knocking, for Jesus said, ”“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.“
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭7‬-‭12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, God has a wonderful plan for you, it is a plan that will give you a wonderful future and a confident hope if you simply humble yourself before God and allow Him have His way.
It can be productive future of joy, peace, and contentment that shall never end, all you need do is ask
and He will receive you.
Jesus said, ”Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’ ”“
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭3‬:‭20‬-‭22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:31-39‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, we can all see what is happening in this world today; sexual immorality, lawlessness, extreme weather conditions, pestilence, the invisible enemy that brought fear and devastation all around the world. Peace by peace the Prophecies of the Holy Bible are turning into history as we head toward the cashless society and the mark of the beast described in REVELATION 13:11-18.
It’s all but over, therefore, if you haven’t already, now would be a good time to turn to God in repentance. Don’t lose your opportunity of life; seek God today, for tomorrow may be too late.
Jesus said, “Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.””
‭‭Luke‬ ‭12:40‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Jesus paid a very high price for you; He purchased Your freedom to live with Him forever with His own blood; don’t throw it all away; turn to Him today in repentance and receive the gift of life.
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
